Welcome!
The First Tee of Savannah is a youth development organization that uses golf to impact character education and life
skills. The "Life Skills Experience" is taught through golf instructions at two locations, Bacon Park Golf Course and
Mary Calder Golf Club. Through The Life Skills Experience participants learn much more than fundamental golf skills.
Participants learn the important of self-management, interpersonal communication, goal setting, and healthy habits,
be more eager to stay in school and be prepared for success in life. The corner stone of The First Tee are the Nine
Core Values and golf is an ideal context to teach these values.
We encourage your family to take advance of this community based enrichment program. We invite you to check out

the major keys to the success of a child's development. We encourage parent participation in many of our planned
